Liverpool to discuss Ifeanyi Ndukwe's potential January recall

Liverpool is reportedly preparing to meet with representatives of 18-year-old centre-back Ifeanyi Ndukwe this weekend to discuss a potential return to Anfield during the January transfer window.

Ndukwe, an Austrian defender, was loaned to Spanish side Levante earlier this season because he did not meet the criteria for a UK work permit. Following several appearances in LaLiga, including three consecutive starts, he has now accrued the necessary points to qualify for a permit in England.

Spanish media have praised Ndukwe’s recent performances at Levante, noting his defensive solidity and ability to control attackers. Levante manager Luis Castro has also lauded the teenager's mental strength and potential, suggesting he could develop into one of the best in the world in his position.

Liverpool retains the option to recall the player midway through his loan spell. The upcoming discussions will determine whether the club brings him back to Merseyside to provide defensive depth or allows him to continue his development in Spain.
