Liverpool FC has completed the signing of 18-year-old Austrian centre-back Ifeanyi Ndukwu, who will immediately join Spanish club Levante UD on a season-long loan. Ndukwu joined Liverpool from Austria Wien in a deal valued at approximately €3 million.

The loan move is intended to provide the young defender with regular first-team experience in La Liga, as he currently lacks the necessary points to secure a UK work permit for Premier League competition. The agreement includes a clause allowing for a potential early return to England during the winter window.

Ndukwu gained attention during Liverpool’s pre-season, notably performing alongside Virgil van Dijk in a match against Monaco. While other clubs including Racing Santander and Estoril Praia expressed interest, Ndukwu chose Levante following interest from coach Luis Castro.
