Ifeanyi Ogbonna's wife denies rape allegations amid death of 20-year-old

The wife of Ifeanyi Ogbonna, a content creator known as Odogwu Asaba, has publicly defended her husband against allegations of rape following the death of 20-year-old Favour Agbro.

Ogbonna was arrested by the Delta State Police Command on suspicion of raping and physically assaulting Agbro after allegedly inviting her to Asaba under the pretense of teaching her content creation. Agbro subsequently died after ingesting a toxic substance.

In a video released on her husband's social media page, Ogbonna's wife rejected the rape allegations, asserting that her husband only had an affair with the deceased. She stated, “Odogwu Asaba did not rape Favour. Odogwu Asaba only had an affair with the girl,” and emphasized that she stands by him completely. She also urged the public to avoid judging the case based on social media narratives, noting that “social media is not a courtroom.”
