IFFCO delegation meets Pakistan Finance Minister to discuss food sector investments

Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, met with a delegation from the International Foodstuffs Company (IFFCO) to discuss the company’s ongoing investment in the country.

Led by Global Group Director Abdelghani Abdullah and IFFCO Pakistan CEO Arshaduddin Ahmed, the delegation highlighted the group’s role in food security and its diversified operations in edible oils, agriculture, and animal nutrition. Since 2006, IFFCO has invested approximately US$100 million in Pakistan, expanding its footprint from a single refinery to two refineries and five manufacturing sites.

Abdelghani Abdullah reaffirmed IFFCO’s intention to continue expanding its business within Pakistan, noting that the country remains a significant market for the UAE-headquartered multinational, which operates in roughly 50 countries.
