iFlytek AI Recording Card Cuts Office Noise and Boosts Speech Accuracy

iFlytek has launched an AI Recording Card designed for noisy open‑office environments. The device uses a multi‑microphone array and proprietary AI noise‑cancellation algorithms to isolate human speech from common office sounds such as keyboard clicks, air‑conditioner hum, phone rings and foot traffic. In side‑by‑side tests, the card delivered clear audio up to eight metres away and achieved a Mandarin speech‑to‑text accuracy of 98.6%, far surpassing a smartphone microphone and a standard recorder, which suffered heavy distortion and transcription errors.

The hardware integrates with iFlytek’s software suite, allowing recordings to be transferred via Wi‑Fi to a phone and synced across multiple devices for editing and distribution. The company positions the product as a solution for meeting recordings, on‑site interviews, and other scenarios where background noise previously rendered audio unusable.
