iFLYTEK launches Spark X2.6 AI model family

At the 1024 Global Developer Festival, iFLYTEK unveiled the Spark X2.6 model family, marking a significant advancement in coding and agent capabilities. The flagship cloud model utilizes a 293B-A30B Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) architecture and features an expanded context window of 1 million tokens.

A key highlight of the release is that the models were trained entirely using domestic Chinese computing power. To address hardware limitations of domestic chips, iFLYTEK implemented long-range task dynamic parallel training, which reportedly increases training efficiency for long contexts by approximately four times.

The release includes the open-source Spark X2.6-4B on-device model, designed for synergy between cloud and local devices in applications such as robots, vehicles, and AI PCs. Additionally, the company introduced SparkAudio 1.0, a speech foundation model, and a suite of developer tools including Agent OS, APA conversational development, and the Xingchen TaaS platform to assist small teams in deploying industry-specific AI solutions.
