IFSE requests 311.1 million pesos for 2027 budget
The Instituto de Fiscalización Superior del Estado (IFSE) has requested a budget of 311,182,698 pesos for the 2027 fiscal year. This represents a 2.03 percent increase over the 305 million pesos authorized for 2026.
According to Auditor Superior Rodrigo Joaquín Lecourtois López, the proposal is designed to be responsible and objective, primarily addressing a planned 3.5 percent salary adjustment for unionized, trusted, and fee-based personnel. Despite this intended adjustment, the total growth for the personnel services chapter is projected at only 0.91 percent, as the institute plans to eliminate unnecessary positions and leave certain vacancies unfilled.
Personnel services will account for 94.28 percent of the total requested budget. The remaining funds are allocated to general services (4.63 percent) and materials and supplies (1.09 percent). The budget does not include allocations for public investment or movable and immovable assets. The proposal will now undergo analysis by the State Congress during the 2027 Expenditure Budget approval process.
