IFSP advances plans for new agricultural Campus Serrana
The Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) has reached a new milestone in the implementation of its Serrana Campus following a third public hearing. Held at the Serrana Cultural Foundation, the meeting brought together municipal authorities, students, and community members to discuss the institution's role in the region's socio-economic development.
To address the local demand for skilled labor in the agribusiness sector, the new campus will focus on two technological axes: Natural Resources, offering integrated technical courses in Agriculture, and Industrial Production. Ricardo Agostinho, Chief of Staff at IFSP, noted that the initiative aims to solve difficulties in hiring professionals capable of working with new technologies in the agricultural sector, ultimately helping to increase local employment and income.
