IFSP to host lecture on Politics, State and Democracy

The Amplifica program at the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) will host a lecture titled ‘Politics, State and Democracy’ on August 12 at 3:00 PM. The session will be led by sociology professor Joice Vanini.

The lecture aims to examine the functioning of political institutions, the role of the State in organizing society, and contemporary challenges regarding the strengthening of democracy. Discussions will also cover social participation, citizenship, and the necessity of public debate in consolidating democratic institutions.

Developed as an institutional project by professor Marina Kanthack Paccini Razze, the Amplifica initiative seeks to expand knowledge through virtual lectures, workshops, and thematic discussions. The event will be broadcast on the IFSP YouTube channel.
