Brazil educational institutions announce new courses and funding
Various Brazilian educational institutions have announced new opportunities for students and professionals. The Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) is offering several programs, including free language courses in German, Spanish, French, English, Italian, and Japanese through the Andifes Idiomas sem Fronteiras network. Additionally, IFSP is opening applications for integrated technical high school courses for 2027 and specialized postgraduate programs in Humanities and Logistics.
In Goiás, the Universidade Estadual de Goiás (UEG) has opened registrations for its 2027 Medicine program in Itumbiara, offering 30 vacancies. Meanwhile, the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) is conducting its second qualification exam for the 2027 entrance process and organizing a walk to raise awareness for organ donation.
On a broader scale, the state of Rio de Janeiro is offering over 12,000 technical course vacancies through a partnership between Faetec, Senai-RJ, and Senac-RJ. Furthermore, IFSP has secured approximately R$ 10 million from Finep to fund the construction of a new building for its Embrapii Unit in Matão, dedicated to food technology research.
