IFSP announces new technical course vacancies and campus expansions
The Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) has announced several institutional developments. The institute is opening 4,504 vacancies for integrated technical high school courses across 40 campuses in São Paulo for the first semester of 2027. Applications are open until October 5, 2026.
In infrastructure news, the IFSP has secured a building for the new Campus Jaçanã in northern São Paulo through a contract with Axia Energias. The facility will undergo renovations funded by the federal government's Novo PAC, with academic activities expected to begin in the second half of 2027, focusing on industrial processes and information technology.
Additionally, the institution is focusing on professional development and community engagement. This includes the creation of a Group of Trainers to strengthen continuous education for staff and the hosting of seminars in Caraguatatuba to discuss extension policies and student success. The IFSP is also conducting a public consultation to define the mission and vision of its endowment fund, known as GENE.
