IFSP expands infrastructure and educational offerings in Brazil
The Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) is advancing several institutional expansion and educational initiatives. The institution has signed a service order for the first phase of restoring a building to house the Franco da Rocha Campus. This project involves an investment of approximately R$ 27 million to renovate over 4,000 square meters of space, with completion expected within two years.
In the Jardim Ângela region, the IFSP has acquired two new plots of land to consolidate its permanent campus, bringing the total area for the unit to approximately 8,000 square meters. This expansion aims to meet long-standing community demands for professional education in the territory.
Additionally, the IFSP is focusing on digital and specialized training. The institution is offering 300 free, online vacancies for a specialization in Public Management through the Matão Campus. Separately, the IFSP was recognized in the Time magazine ‘World’s Best Employers 2026’ ranking, placing 56th among Brazilian organizations and 4th within the education sector.
Other recent activities include participation in the Equipotel 2026 event to discuss tourism career qualification and the offering of free Artificial Intelligence courses through a partnership between Instituto Energisa and IBM SkillsBuild.
