IFSP institutional repository integrates with national scientific databases

The Institutional Repository of the Federal Institute of São Paulo (RI-IFSP) has integrated with two major national scientific information databases maintained by the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (Ibict): the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and the Brazilian Portal of Open Access Scientific Publications and Data (Oasisbr).

This integration utilizes interoperability standards to allow metadata from the RI-IFSP to be collected and retrieved by other national scientific information systems. The move aims to increase the visibility and reach of academic and scientific production from IFSP, facilitating easier access and citation for students, researchers, and the general public. It also serves to integrate IFSP's output with the scientific production of other Brazilian institutions and preserve the institution's academic memory.
