IFSP launches inaugural classes for UAB degree programs

The Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) held inaugural classes for two higher education programs offered through the Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB) system, with funding from Capes.

The programs include Technology in Systems Analysis and Development (TADS) from the Campinas Campus and Technology in Computer Networks from the Salto Campus. The TADS inaugural session was held via videoconference on August 7, covering institutional history, academic procedures, and the course's pedagogical project.

The Computer Networks inaugural session took place in person on August 8 at the Polo UAB Casa Blanca in São Paulo. These courses are part of IFSP's ongoing support for distance education, which currently manages four undergraduate and ten postgraduate courses through the UAB framework.
