IFSP announces technical course openings and student achievements

The Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) has launched a selection process offering 3,235 free technical course vacancies across 40 campuses in the state of São Paulo. The opportunities, which include both in-person and distance learning (EaD) formats, are intended for students currently in high school or those who have already completed it. Selection will be conducted via electronic draw rather than a traditional exam. Courses cover various fields such as Administration, Biotechnology, Logistics, and Mechatronics, with enrollment open until November 18.

In other news, students from the IFSP Birigui, São Carlos, and São José dos Campos campuses earned 43 medals at the 2026 Brazilian Ocean Olympiad (O2). The group secured 36 gold, four silver, and three bronze medals in the Knowledge category. The competition aims to promote ocean literacy and aligns with the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.

Additionally, the IFSP has released an edict providing financial assistance to up to 200 students to support their participation in the 17th Congress of Innovation, Science, and Technology (Conict), held at the Guarulhos Campus.
