IFSP students participate in CBSoft 2026 software congress
Approximately 160 students from five IFSP campuses—São Carlos, São Paulo, Barretos, Campos do Jordão, and Piracicaba—participated in the CBSoft 2026 (Brazilian Software Congress: Theory and Practice). The event, held at the University of São Paulo’s Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME-USP), included a special program titled “CBSoft no Ensino Médio” designed to connect basic education students with academic and scientific environments.
During the congress, students presented 32 posters showcasing results from scientific initiation projects and other institutional research. The program featured lectures and panels on computing careers, including a presentation by Maurício Aniche, CTO of Alura, and a discussion involving professionals from iFood and USP. The initiative aimed to provide students with direct contact with researchers and industry professionals to discuss challenges and opportunities in the field of computing.
