IFSP students participate in CBSoft 2026 software congress
Approximately 160 students from six campuses of the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) participated in the CBSoft 2026 (Brazilian Software Congress: Theory and Practice) on September 8. The event, held at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo (IME-USP), included a special program titled ‘CBSoft in High School’ designed to connect basic education students with academic and technological environments.
During the congress, IFSP students presented 32 posters showcasing results from scientific initiation projects and other institutional research. The students also attended lectures and panels regarding careers in computing. Notable participants included Maurício Aniche, CTO of Alura, and a panel featuring Adenilso Simão from USP, Rodrigo Henrique Ramos from IFSP, and Brena Ribeiro from iFood.
