IFSP holds public hearing for new Sumaré campus and announces internationalization seminar
The Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) is advancing several institutional initiatives. In Sumaré, the institution held its first public hearing at the Municipal Chamber to discuss the implementation of the new Campus Sumaré. This meeting served as a consultation process with the community, including residents, students, and local industry representatives, to define the technological axes and courses to be offered. The new campus aims to provide technical, undergraduate, and postgraduate opportunities to the region.
Additionally, the IFSP has announced an Internationalization Seminar scheduled for October 29 and 30, 2026, in São Paulo. The event, themed ‘Internationalization and institutional development: dialogues, practices and possibilities’, aims to strengthen institutional capacity through international cooperation. The program includes a keynote lecture by Professor Luciane Stallivieri from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and the launch of the IFSP Internationalization Observatory.
