IFSP to host seminar on ethnic-racial education and teacher training

The Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP), through its Center for Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies (Neabi/IFSP), will host a seminar from November 30 to December 3, 2026, at the São Paulo Campus. The event focuses on teacher training and the National Policy for Equity, Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations, and Quilombola School Education (PNEERQ).

Participants including researchers, educators, and students will discuss challenges in ethnic-racial relations education and the implementation of racial equity policies. The seminar aims to facilitate the exchange of research and educational practices across various institutions.

Separately, the city of Anápolis is conducting its final public workshop for the revision of its Master Plan. This participatory process allows citizens to contribute to urban planning strategies, including mobility, environmental protection, and commercial development.
