Iftikhar Gillani chairs meeting on youth character building

Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Iftikhar Gillani, chaired a meeting focused on the role of mosques and religious scholars in the character building of the younger generation. The session emphasized the importance of teaching the Quran and understanding its teachings within educational institutions to foster a responsible and civilized society.

Religious scholars in attendance expressed support for government initiatives aimed at making Quranic education more effective and meaningful for students. The Prime Minister highlighted that education should aim beyond mere knowledge acquisition, focusing instead on developing ethics, discipline, tolerance, and a sense of responsibility among youth. He noted that the government would seek guidance from senior scholars and spiritual leaders to ensure the moral development of children alongside their academic progress.
