Iga Świątek leads Universal Tennis Rating rankings

Iga Świątek has secured the top position in the Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) rankings, despite a challenging season. The Polish tennis star holds a rating of 12.97, placing her ahead of American Coco Gauff (12.95) and Kazakhstan’s Jelena Rybakina (12.93).

Following a season where she did not win a Grand Slam title and faced injury concerns in Wuhan, Świątek has confirmed she is taking a break from professional competition to focus on rest and recovery. She shared updates with fans from the Maldives, noting her need to recuperate after a period of fatigue.

The UTR system, managed by UTR Sports, evaluates players based on match results, game ratios, and opponent strength, independent of age, gender, or nationality.
