IGF of Congo and France initiate bilateral cooperation

The Syndicat des Inspecteurs des Finances (SIF) has expressed support for a new bilateral cooperation initiative between the Inspection Générale des Finances (IGF) of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its French counterpart.

This partnership aims to establish a framework for sharing professional experiences, exchanging best practices, and strengthening technical skills. The collaboration is intended to modernize audit tools and improve the efficiency of financial controls within both institutions. The SIF noted that this synergy is expected to enhance the methods used to monitor public finances and hopes the cooperation will lead to concrete actions that intensify the fight against corruption and promote transparency and good governance.
