Igli Tare’s bag stolen on Rome-bound train, police quickly arrest thief

Igli Tare, former sporting director of Lazio, was robbed of his bag while traveling on a train to Rome. The theft occurred in the afternoon as the train approached Rome Termini, shortly after Tare had attended the funeral of football legend Franco Baresi.

Tare reported the incident to the Polizia Ferroviaria at the station. Police used CCTV footage to identify the suspect, arrested him within minutes, and returned the bag to Tare. The swift response was highlighted in an official police statement.
