Igloo Playmate KoolTunes Cooler and Amazon $36 Portable Air Conditioner Offer Affordable Summer Cooling

Igloo introduced the Playmate KoolTunes cooler, a 13‑litre portable box that doubles as a Bluetooth speaker. Priced at $140 (£234), it features an IP56‑rated weather‑resistant exterior, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, ten hours of audio playback, and true‑wireless stereo pairing. Reviewers noted its easy‑to‑carry design, 26‑can capacity, and leak‑free lid, as well as a USB‑C charging port.

Amazon discounted a compact personal air conditioner to $36, down from $70, after more than 1,000 shoppers purchased it in the past month. The device holds 1,200 ml of ice water, uses a cooling fan system to generate a cold breeze, and operates on low energy with a rechargeable battery. Users praised its quiet operation, portability, and ability to keep a room comfortable for a day when ice is added.
