Igman d. d. Konjic to resume production after water supply halt

Igman d. d. Konjic is set to resume regular business activities on Monday, September 14, following a multi-day production halt caused by water supply issues. Approximately 1,300 workers, one of the largest employers in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s defense industry, will return to work.

While the water supply problem has not been fully resolved, the company has implemented a temporary solution in cooperation with the local water utility, JKP Vodovod i kanalizacija Konjic. This arrangement ensures the minimum amount of water necessary to maintain production processes, hygiene, and worker safety. The company noted that the production stoppage, which initially lasted only one day, was extended through the end of the work week as the water shortage proved more significant than anticipated.
