Igman shares fail to sell for second time on Sarajevo Stock Exchange

A second attempt to sell a significant stake in Igman d.d. Konjic, a major defense industry manufacturer in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has failed. On October 15, an extraordinary auction was held on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange where the investment fund ZIF Bonus d.d. Sarajevo offered 26,000 shares.

The package was offered at an initial price of 178 KM per share, totaling approximately 4.6 million KM. This sale attempt was nearly identical to a previous unsuccessful attempt in September, with the same number of shares and price point.

The 26,000 shares represent roughly 4.49 percent of Igman's total 578,906 shares. If sold, ZIF Bonus would reduce its current ownership of approximately 9 percent by nearly half. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina remains the majority owner of the company with a 51 percent stake.
