Ignacio “Nacho” Meyer to step down as Univision President

Ignacio “Nacho” Meyer is stepping down from his role as President of the Univision Networks Group at TelevisaUnivision. Meyer, who has been with the company for nearly 15 years, was appointed to the presidency in 2022.

During his tenure, Meyer was instrumental in integrating TelevisaUnivision’s various platforms, including television, radio, digital services, and the ViX streaming platform. He was particularly noted for strengthening the company’s ties to the music industry, helping to establish music as a core pillar of the brand alongside sports and telenovelas.

Despite leaving his current post, Meyer will remain involved with the media giant to lead strategic projects. His upcoming responsibilities include overseeing the Latin Grammys, scheduled to air on November 12, and managing the launch of Don Francisco’s new interview program this fall.
