Ukrainian modern metal band IGNEA has released the music video for their new single, ‘Darkness’. The track serves as the second single from their upcoming album, Monumental, which is scheduled for release on October 23 via Napalm Records.

The single and its accompanying music video explore themes of nostalgia and grief. Filmed in Kyiv, the video features the city’s modernist architecture, symbolizing a lost future. The band noted that the video was shot during a period of significant missile and drone attacks on the capital, adding a layer of real-time loss to the song’s emotional themes.
