Igor Henrique nears transfer from Atlético-GO to Ferroviária
Midfielder Igor Henrique is nearing a transfer from Atlético-GO to Ferroviária. The 34-year-old player, who has played 28 matches and scored one goal for Atlético-GO this season, has seen a reduction in playing time following the arrival of coach Roger Silva.
Negotiations with Paysandu were previously advanced but did not result in a completed deal. Atlético-GO's management is reportedly open to releasing the player, potentially without requiring a transfer fee, to allow him more playing time.
Ferroviária is currently competing in the decisive quadrangular stage of Série C, aiming for promotion to the second division. They are competing in Group B alongside Paysandu, Brusque, and Inter de Limeira, with the top two teams securing promotion.
