Igor Jovićević appointed as Ludogorets Razgrad head coach

Igor Jovićević Ludogorets Razgrad Bulgarian football manager appointment triple crown

Igor Jovićević has been officially appointed as the new head coach of the Bulgarian football club Ludogorets Razgrad. The Croatian manager returns to the club where he previously achieved a historic triple crown during the 2024/25 season, securing the Bulgarian championship, the Bulgarian Cup, and the Supercup.

Jovićević will be accompanied by a coaching staff that includes Ukrainian assistants Andriy Chanas and Yuriy Beno, as well as Spanish fitness coach Javier Laruena. This team previously worked together at Ludogorets and most recently at the Polish club Widzew Łódź.

The appointment follows the departure of former coach Thomas Reis, who accepted an offer from Trabzonspor. Jovićević is scheduled to lead his first training session on September 24, with an official presentation set for September 26 at the Huvepharma Arena.
