Igor Konatar denies allegations of misconduct at FK Radnički 1923

Igor Konatar, director of FK Radnički 1923, has issued a formal statement denying allegations of misconduct following claims made by Nenad Milovanović, the sports director of FK Mladost Lučani.

Milovanović had previously suggested that he was unwelcome at the Čika Dača stadium and cited information regarding potential insults and incidents. Konatar refuted these claims, stating that the individual Milovanović cited is not a member of the FK Radnički 1923 management and has no authority to speak for the club.

Konatar emphasized that Kragujevac is not a city where guests are threatened and that the club has a reputation for being respectful hosts. He noted that he attempted to contact Milovanović twice before the match to clarify matters, but the calls went unanswered.

In a decisive move, Konatar stated that if any evidence is presented proving that he or any member of the FK Radnički 1923 leadership organized insults, threats, or attacks against Milovanović, he will resign immediately without explanation. He also criticized the involvement of politics in the sporting rivalry.
