Igor Kordun clinches U17 Individual Speedway Cup in Gorzów

The VII round of the Individual Speedway Cup for under‑17 riders was held on 27 July at the Gorzów track in Poland. Igor Kordun (Stal Gorzów) secured victory with a total of 14 points, finishing ahead of Mikołaj Duchiński (KS Toruń) and Krzysztof Harendarczyk (WTS Sparta Wrocław), who both scored 12 points.

Kordun’s win came after a three‑hour competition that featured 13 heats and required multiple re‑runs due to broken tapes and rider warnings. Kacper Sobkowiak (Stal Gorzów) took fourth place with 11 points, while other notable scorers included Karol Szmyd (Motor Lublin) with 10 points and Michał Psiuk (Motor Lublin) with 9 points. The event concluded with a final heat that determined the remaining podium positions.

The next round of the U17 Individual Cup is scheduled for 3 August in Grudziądz.
