Igor Rabello suffers shoulder injury during Fluminense match

Fluminense defender Igor Rabello suffered an acromioclavicular shoulder dislocation during a Brasileirão match against Palmeiras. The 31-year-old player sustained the injury during a challenge with Palmeiras' Ramón Sosa in the second half of the game.

Rabello was substituted in the eighth minute of the second half and left the Maracanã wearing shoulder protection. He is scheduled to undergo medical examinations to determine the severity of the injury, with surgery being a likely requirement. This injury may result in his absence from upcoming matches.

Rabello had been playing as a starter in the absence of Thiago Silva and had made only six appearances for Fluminense this year. Fluminense ultimately won the match 3-2.
