Igor Thiago attracts interest from Aston Villa and Tottenham

Brentford striker Igor Thiago has emerged as a primary transfer target for several Premier League clubs. Aston Villa is reportedly considering a bid of approximately £50 million to secure the Brazilian forward, viewing him as a potential long-term successor or competitor to Ollie Watkins.

Tottenham Hotspur is also monitoring the 25-year-old, alongside interest from Nottingham Forest and Atlético Madrid. Thiago has demonstrated significant form, following a previous season where he scored 22 Premier League goals.

While Thiago's market value is estimated at €22 million, Brentford holds a strong negotiating position due to a contract running through 2029. Any potential transfer may also trigger a 12.5% sell-on clause benefiting his former club, Club Brugge.
