Brazilian striker Igor Thiago marks one year since scoring his first official goal for Brentford, which occurred against Nottingham Forest during the opening round of the 2025/2026 Premier League season.

Thiago had a highly productive previous season, scoring 25 goals across all competitions, including 22 in the Premier League. This performance placed him as the league's second-highest scorer, trailing only Manchester City's Erling Haaland.

In recent pre-season friendlies, Thiago has continued his scoring form, netting once in a 4-2 victory over Rennes and twice in a 7-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt. He also featured in the club's new away kit campaign, directed by Matthew Vaughn.
