Igor Štimac denied VIP access at Široki Brijeg football match

Igor Štimac was reportedly denied entry to the VIP lounge at the Pecara stadium in Široki Brijeg during a match between NK Široki Brijeg and Borac.

Josip Pinjuh, a member of the Široki Brijeg City Council, stated that Štimac attended the match at the invitation of Marijo Tot, the current coach of NK Široki Brijeg and a former assistant to Štimac. Pinjuh alleged that the refusal of access was due to Štimac’s recent public appearances alongside leaders of the ‘Hrvatska petorka’ and Zdenka Lučić. Pinjuh criticized the club's leadership, suggesting their actions were driven by political interests rather than sports.
