Persib Bandung Igor Tolic preseason training President Cup 2026 new foreign signings

On 11 July 2026 Persib Bandung held its first preseason training at the Lapangan Pendamping of Gelora Bandung Lautan Api. The session was led by newly appointed head coach Igor Tolic and was attended by 22 squad members, including three recent foreign recruitments – Gabriel Mutombo, Luka Menalo and Balsa Sekulic. Assistant coaches Zlatko Runje and Karlo Reinholz joined the staff on the sidelines.

Club commissioner Umuh Muchtar watched the drill and urged the players to stay united and work hard, saying, “All must be together, keep the spirit, and aim for the championship.” Coach Tolic emphasised that the initial practice was focused on introducing the team’s tactical philosophy and rebuilding fitness, with training intensity to rise as the season progresses.

The squad is preparing for the pre‑season President Cup 2026, scheduled to begin on 25 July, and aims to achieve strong results in the upcoming domestic campaign.
