Italian volleyball leagues prepare for new season starts

The Italian volleyball season is commencing across multiple tiers. In the women's top flight, Lube begins its 32nd season with a high-stakes match against Verona, a club aiming to maintain its competitive edge following recent successes in the Coppa Italia and Champions League qualification.

In the professional leagues, Igor Volley Novara has officially signed Ludovica Franzoso, a young libero from VBC Cremonese, to bolster its roster following the departure of Giulia De Nardi. Meanwhile, Joy Volley Gioia del Colle and Domotek Volley are preparing for their Serie A2 debuts, with the latter focusing on securing stability in the category.

Lower divisions are also seeing significant activity. Tonno Callipo enters a new chapter in Serie A3 with a revamped roster, while L'Alba Volley makes its debut in Serie B1. Other clubs, including Giarratana Volley, Maury’s Com Cavi Tuscania, and Tenaglia Altino Avastese, are also preparing for their respective league starts as the national volleyball calendar expands.
