Igor Volley to host ninth Giampaolo Ferrari Memorial

Giampaolo Ferrari Memorial Igor Volley Italian volleyball Piedmont derby charity match

The ninth edition of the Giampaolo Ferrari Memorial is scheduled for September 30 at the Pala Igor in Novara. The event commemorates the engineer and entrepreneur whose support was vital to the growth of Igor Volley.

The match will feature a Piedmont derby between Igor Volley, led by coach Massimo Barbolini, and Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76. For Barbolini, the event marks a return to the club where he led the team to victory in the inaugural 2017 memorial.

Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to ANGSA. The match serves as a pre-season test for Igor Volley ahead of their Serie A1 championship debut on October 4.
