Igreja de Nossa Senhora das Salas reopens in Sines
The Igreja de Nossa Senhora das Salas has been reopened to the public in Sines following a restoration project costing 450,000 euros. The intervention was fully funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and promoted by the Municipality of Sines.
The official reopening ceremony included the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Margarida Balseiro Lopes, alongside Sines Mayor Álvaro Beijinha and the president of Património Cultural, I. P., João Soalheiro. The monument, which has been classified as a National Monument since 1922, includes a museum pole displaying the church's treasure.
The site is open to visitors from Wednesday to Sunday, with morning and afternoon sessions.
