Igrejinha Oktoberfest brings traditions to regional industries

The 'Oktober na Indústria' initiative brought the spirit of the 37th Oktoberfest of Igrejinha to various companies within the Vale do Paranhana region on September 23 and 24. Organized by the Igrejinha Footwear Industry Union in partnership with the Association of Friends of the Igrejinha Oktoberfest (Amifest), the campaign aims to strengthen the historical connection between the festival and the local productive sector.

The delegation, which included the festival court, presidency, and volunteers, visited 18 companies, such as Status, Eva, Compojet, Bebecê, Beira Rio, Piccadilly, Quintin, Carmina, Usaflex, Metalização, Pampa, Sicoob, Vicenza, Faccine, Lenna Rios, Ponto a Ponto, Ambiente Verde, and LK. The group also visited the Igrejinha Municipal Government.

The festival is scheduled to take place from October 9 to 18 at the Almiro Grings Event Park. Participants, including sponsors like Usaflex, noted that the initiative helps bring the festival closer to the community and celebrates local cultural roots.
