Iguazu Falls to host binational Cataratas Day celebrations

The Iguazu Falls will celebrate the 15th anniversary of being named one of the New7Wonders of Nature on November 11, 2026. The event, known as Cataratas Day, will feature binational activities across both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of the falls.

In Brazil, the program at Parque Nacional do Iguaçu includes a job market, a local producers' fair, and extended visitor hours. In Argentina, festivities will include music, regional dances, and the inauguration of the “Portal Mágico Iguazú,” a project designed to symbolically connect visitors from both nations.

The celebrations are scheduled to run throughout the day, concluding with an institutional ceremony and commemorative cocktail at the Hotel Iguazú Grand. The event aims to highlight the shared natural heritage and promote international tourism for the region.
