IHCL opens Taj Tadoba Resort & Spa near Maharashtra tiger reserve

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), a part of the Tata Group, has announced the opening of the Taj Tadoba Resort & Spa in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Located near the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, the luxury retreat is situated on 17 acres of natural landscape.

The resort features 35 private villas designed for immersive wilderness experiences. Amenities include the Machan all-day dining restaurant, the Panorama Bar, the J Wellness Circle spa, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre. The property also provides meeting spaces for corporate and social events.

Gaurav Pokhariyal, Chief Operating Officer of Full-Service Business at IHCL, stated that the opening strengthens the company’s presence in Central India, noting that India’s biodiversity is increasingly influencing travel preferences. The resort aims to cater to the growing global and domestic interest in wildlife tourism within the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve.
