IHG expands presence in Riyadh with new hotel brand and event partnership

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced several developments in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involving both hospitality expansion and event partnerships.

IHG has signed a franchise agreement with Morina Development & Investment to introduce the Noted Collection brand to the Middle East. The first property, Cantonal Hotel Riyadh Noted Collection, will feature 107 keys and is located in the Al Olaya commercial district. The hotel is expected to open by the end of 2026 and will include a rooftop lounge, meeting spaces, and an indoor pool.

Additionally, InterContinental Riyadh by IHG has been named the Premium Venue Partner for FINNOVEX Saudi Arabia 2026. The fintech summit, scheduled for 2–3 September 2026, will focus on the theme “Vision 2030 & Fintech Innovation: Accelerating Saudi Arabia’s Digital Finance Ecosystem.” The event is expected to host over 200 senior decision-makers and 40 speakers from the banking, technology, and regulatory sectors.
