IHG Hotels & Resorts announces Garner Hotel in Ahmedabad

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement for the Garner Hotel Ahmedabad Motera in Gujarat, India. The 40-key midscale hotel is scheduled to open in 2029.

Developed by Devpriya Buildcon, the property will be managed by United Hospitality Management (UHM). The hotel is located at the Motera-Sabarmati junction in North Ahmedabad, positioned near the Narendra Modi Stadium, the Sabarmati Bullet Train hub, and various corporate districts. The project will be part of a mixed-use development that includes retail, banquet and restaurant facilities, and a hospital.

This signing marks the first for the Garner brand in Ahmedabad. IHG noted that the expansion supports its growth strategy in high-potential Indian markets, leveraging Ahmedabad’s increasing role as a commercial and infrastructure hub.
