IHG Hotels & Resorts expands in India with voco Karjat

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Discover Resorts Neral Pvt. Ltd. to introduce the voco brand to Karjat, Maharashtra. The property is expected to be converted to the premium brand by early 2028, adding more than 200 rooms to IHG’s portfolio.

Located in the Sahyadri mountain range foothills, Karjat is an emerging leisure destination due to its proximity to Mumbai and Pune. The hotel will cater to weekend travelers, destination weddings, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) retreats.

Planned amenities for voco Karjat include three dining venues—a 200-seat all-day dining restaurant, a 50-seat pool bar, and a 150-seat rooftop venue—as well as a fitness center, spa, salon, and pet-friendly facilities.
