IHG Hotels & Resorts to debut Kimpton brand in Rome

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced an agreement to bring its Kimpton Luxury & Lifestyle brand to Rome. The new property is owned by the Rome Hotel Development Fund, which is managed by Castello SGR.

Scheduled to open in 2029, the hotel will feature 114 rooms, a rooftop bar, a restaurant, an internal courtyard, a wellness area, and dedicated meeting and event spaces. A central feature of the project involves the restoration of an existing theater, which will be transformed into a multifunctional space for arts and events.

This development marks IHG’s third hotel in the Via Veneto area and contributes to the group's growing presence in Italy, which now exceeds 50 properties in various stages of development.
