IHG Hotels & Resorts to manage Crowne Plaza New Cairo

Kleek Developments has signed a management agreement with IHG Hotels & Resorts to launch Crowne Plaza New Cairo in Egypt. Located in the Sixth Settlement district, the 250-room hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2031.

The property is designed to serve the growing corporate, commercial, and residential sectors in East Cairo. It will feature a variety of rooms and suites, four dining venues—including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge, and a bar—and six dedicated event spaces for social and corporate gatherings.

To meet modern traveler needs, the hotel will implement the brand’s ‘Plaza Workspace’ concept, which reconfigures lobby areas for work and leisure, and the ‘WorkLife Room’ layout, which provides distinct areas for working, relaxing, and sleeping. Wellness amenities will include a swimming pool, gymnasium, fitness center, and spa facilities.
