IHG One Rewards launches 100% bonus points sale at 0.5 cents each

InterContinental Hotels Group's IHG One Rewards program is running a limited‑time promotion from 12:00 a.m. ET on 1 August 2026 until 11:59 p.m. ET on 17 August 2026. During the offer members can purchase IHG One Rewards points with a bonus of up to 100 percent, effectively lowering the price to as little as 0.5 cents per point when at least 5,000 points are bought in a single transaction. Bonus tiers are 80 % for purchases of 5,000 points, 90 % for 10,000 points and 100 % for 30,000 points or more. Annual limits apply: members may acquire a maximum of 200,000 points in a calendar year, with the amount available during the sale reduced by any points already purchased, gifted or received earlier in the year. The promotion is available to qualifying members who log into their IHG One Rewards account and see the applicable bonus percentage.
