IHM Hyderabad hosts double book launch for faculty authors

The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Hyderabad hosted a double book launch for two new titles authored by its faculty members. The books were officially released by A. Vani Prasad, IAS, Special Chief Secretary for the Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture Department of the Government of Telangana.

The first book, ‘The Language Buffet: A Feast of Food and Drink Idioms and Phrases’, was written by IHM Hyderabad Principal Sanjay Thakur. It explores the intersection of language, culture, and gastronomy through food-related idioms.

The second book, ‘A Kaleidoscope of Indian Palates: The Ultimate Culinary Quiz Digest’, was authored by Puneet Razdan, Head of the Food & Beverage Service Department. This interactive resource focuses on India’s diverse culinary heritage, featuring quizzes and trivia regarding regional cuisines and traditional ingredients.
